Our family’s search for the best Italian restaurant in Knoxville is finally over! Cappuccino’s was such an enjoyable experience from the food, to the staff, and ambiance. We had the lasagna, veal parmesan, and spaghetti with meatballs and no one left disappointed! The food was outstanding and if you go, please get the chocolate cake with fresh astrawberries for desert because it is to-die-for! Both the waitress and the manager were very friendly and went above and beyond wherever they could to make out dinning experience great. We will be returning to cappuccinos and we’re excited to try Copper Cellar, because we’re convinced it must be just as great. We’d definitely recommend them to friends and family!

I stumbled upon this place and i'm very glad that I did! The food, service, and ambiance were all very nice. It's a medium sized restaurant tucked next to a steak/seafood place(Copper Cellar). I chose to get a multi-course meal. Appetizer: Arancini con Pisell (lightly breaded deep fried arborio rice balls, sweet baby peas, fontina, mozzarella, & auricchio provolone)i, First course: Pasta Gnudi. (ricotta dumplings, creamy white wine alfredo, pesto verde) Second course: Costolette(12oz prime rib) Desert: Lemon Mascarpone Cream Cake All dishes were well garnished, had appropriate sides and were very reasonably priced! Most everything is 20 or less with the exception of things like the primerib which are still only 20-30. Very large portions and great value for the money. It's not "cheap" but for what really is pretty high-end dining, it's extremely competitively priced. My fiance grew up with an Italian mother and also very much enjoyed her food, so it has that Italian's stamp of approval! The sever was very attentive. The food was relatively quick. The ambiance is very nice (see photos). Overall I would absolutely suggest Cappuccino's for any couple looking for a nice date or a nice business dinner.

Authentic, Italian food with an unbeatable atmosphere. The dining area at Cappuccino’s is intimately lit with limited seating which makes for a quiet, enjoyable experience. The waitstaff are all kind, professional, and have a great understanding of the menu with ever-changing, daily specials. The attention to detail throughout the restaurant is superior; from the wine bottles suspended from the ceiling as light fixtures, to the European instrumental that floods the air. The food, of course, is incredible. My favorites are the lasagna and the mascarpone lemon cream cake, though, I’m convinced there’s nothing on the menu that would leave one unsatisfied!

We went here at the end of a long day in Knoxville to celebrate both of our kids’ birthdays. My daughter wanted chicken Marsala, and chose Cappucino’s. Great choice! Both of us ended up getting the filet Marsala with risotto. It was delicious — perfectly cooked filet and the flavor was over the top. My husband got 2 orders of meatballs, and my son ordered chicken fettuccine. Everyone loved their meals. Service was excellent as well; my only disappointment was that I never got a refill on Coke (water was refilled multiple times.) We look forward to going back sometime when we’re in Knoxville again.
